How to enter

You can enter long play tournaments above via the clubs secure online registration and payments portal (click https://mcc.enter.services/ or navigate there though the tournament pages above). Please register and pay as early as you can as this makes tournament planing much much easier for us and means we can provide an improved service.

Saturday Afternoon Allegro please just pay on the day with cash.

Rating prizes

In most of our tournaments we offer rating prizes. This means everybody is playing for prize money.

Typically rating prizes are based on FIDE, but the decision is made by the organiser after the start of the tournament when they can review the ratings.

Due to varying and unpredictable numbers the number of rating groups and prize money may vary to what was originally published, unless the tournament explicitly states that the prizes are guaranteed.

The organiser will also decide if unrated players are eligible for rating prizes. In most tournaments they are not eligible for rating prizes but are eligible for the open prizes. For some tournaments there is an unrated prize category.
